The Short Answer

10–15 business days from proof approval to shipment. That's our standard production window for custom embroidered hats.

What Happens After You Order

  1. Digitizing (1–2 days) — We convert your logo into a stitch file our embroidery machines can read. This is included free with every Hat52 order.
  2. Digital proof sent to you — You'll receive an email with a mockup of your logo on the hat. No stitching happens until you approve it.
  3. Production (8–12 days) — Once approved, your hats go into production. We embroider, quality-check, and fold each hat before packing.
  4. Shipping — We ship via UPS or FedEx. Standard shipping adds 2–5 business days depending on your location.

When to Order

If you need hats for an event, count back 4 weeks from the date you need them. That gives you a week of buffer for shipping delays and proof revisions.

Why 10–15 Days?

Embroidery is slower than printing. Each hat runs through the machine individually, and thread colors are changed between runs. Unlike a print shop that can process large runs in a single pass, embroidery is precise, hands-on work. The extra time is worth it — embroidered logos last the life of the hat.
